The stellarator reborn

Prior iterations of the stellarator were much more complex than other fusion systems such as the tokamak. This was a limiting factor–until now.

Our proprietary stellarator technology eliminates the intricate 3D magnet coils required in all other proposed stellarator architectures. These modular coils are extremely difficult and expensive to manufacture, assemble, and maintain.

By transferring the complexity of 3D magnetic fields to modern electronic control systems, we leverage the significant developments in computing and control systems. The result is a radically simplifying (and cost-reducing) new paradigm.

Introducing Eos

Our first system, Eos, is a neutron source stellarator capable of commercial operation for the production of various isotopes including tritium. Eos is the only first-generation fusion system prototypical of a power plant. Our development roadmap is not contingent on further scientific breakthroughs. No miracles required.
